1- A Critical Validation Management Tool for Business Excellence Models:

Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to validate a newly developed model, called the Continuous Improvement Tracking Model (CITM), for the first time. The Continuous Improvement Tracking Model (CITM) is a model developed by Nasser Lootah, the Executive Vice President of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority in an attempt to manage the process improvement. A feedback mechanism is introduced in order to take an action that is based on the degree of deviations. The validation is carried out by an ABCD Model Analysis (Saad & Al Afifi, 2015) which is based on the set of steps Analyze, Build, Check, and then Decide. The core of the validation tool development is formed by a combination of well-known quality management tools: the Deming Cycle, RADAR logic and the application of statistical tools: structural equation modeling, SPSS and AMOS.
In this paper the focus is to analyze the effectiveness of CITM implementation according to an ABCD model analysis. Results were obtained from eight teams of managers, using research hypotheses and a RADAR instrument, which were used to facilitate, analyze, and test the model and to check the built model to verify the analysis that was made on the Continuous Improvement Tracking Model (CITM).

2- An Empirical Test and Validation of Dubai Government Excellence Program (DGEP) using ABCD Model Analysis:

Abstract:
This paper focus on the validation of Dubai Government Excellence Program (DGEP) model for the
first time using new management tool for validation of business excellence model called ABCD Model
Analysis. The validation carried out on DGEP model 2009 version and has led to some alteration in the DGEP
model and has been considered and implemented as part of the internal continuous process improvement in the
latest version of DEGP 2014.
Different methods are used in this paper, namely the new proposed ABCD Model, questionnaires, SPSS and
AMOS. The proposed new ABCD Model Analysis, consists of four stages, Analyse, Build, Check and Decide.
In this paper the focus is to analyse the DGEP criteria, Building the model according to the ABCD model
analysis, building the measurement instrument through questionnaires distributed in the Emirate of Dubai,
using research hypotheses and ABCD path analysis which is developed to facilitate, analyzing, testing the
model and Check the built model to verify the analysis that was made on DGEP.
The critical analysis carried out on the nine DGEP criteria distributed into 38 main sub criteria and 200 sub-sub
criteria found to be valid and reliable. The DGEP adopted the structure of the EFQM model and adapted to the
UAE culture settings. Most of the DGEP model component linked strongly the five enablers “Leadership”,
“Strategy”, “People”, “Partnership” and “Resources and Process” with the model outcomes represented in the
four types of results; people result, customer result, society result and key result.
The study shows that for the first time and by using the ABCD Model Analysis the DGEP Model was validated
successfully and confirmed to be fit for use. In addition, it is evident that the proposed ABCD Model Analysis is
a very useful management tool for validation due to its systematic, simple, easy to remember, implement and to
refine. In addition, the Path Analysis in the ABCD Model is a better version of the known Path Analysis
techniques.

4- ABCD Management Theory:

Abstract:
This paper introduces a new and innovative management theory which can be used for developing and validating business models by using ABCD Validation Method. This is a newly developed validation method which mainly focuses on two principles. The first to understand the purpose of the model and identify and develop the approach of the validation. While the second to design validation through analyzing, building, checking and deciding. In this paper, a theory of validation quality management is proposed and articulated to describe and explain the effects of adopting quality management theories. This combines a quality management method with the approach used in ABCD Validation Method which is based on analytical by Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) using Analysis of Moment Structures (AMOS) for building and validating Business Excellence Models. The design of ABCD Validation Method is based on a new method of direct and/or indirect path evaluation which divides relationship paths into categories based on ABCD alphabetical coding, and provides a systematic, sequential and logical view based on the ABCD rule of thumb which enables the analysing process to take place with ease and accuracy prior to and during the validation process.
